Fitting Process
Old timber is removed to expose rafter feet / batons for inspection and treatment if required, preventing further deterioration.

Old drip apron is checked for condition and replaced with new, PVCU membrane as required. Projects with peg tiles or slate roofs usually do not need drip aprons, however, as an added precaution, APC Cladding will always endeavour to fit one if possible to these rooflines.

Rafters are plumb tied and packers fitted to re-level roofline, prior to fitting new boards.

The finished Fascia, Sofit, Guttering profile soffits can be either flat or tongue grooved at the customers discretion. Advice will be given.

Gables
How it should NOT look.
How it looks after APC Cladding has finished. The construction of the boxends is a specialisation of APC Cladding.
Ventilation

if a property requires roofline ventilation (because of problems or building regulations), this will be fitted at no extra cost. Advice is always offered.

A more comprehensive explanation of all the previous procedures is covered at point of survey.
